Delusional Disorder (also called paranoid psychosis) is a mental health condition characterized by the presence of persistent delusions—false beliefs that are firmly held despite evidence to the contrary. Unlike other psychotic disorders (like schizophrenia), people with delusional disorder typically do not experience significant disturbances in their overall functioning, behavior, or personality outside of their delusions.
