Definition:
Social
anxiety disorder also called as social phobia is a chronic mental health
condition. It is an intense, persistent fear of being watched and judged by
others. This fear can affect work, school, and day-to-day activities. It can
even make it hard to make and keep friends.
Symptoms:
Emotional and Behavioral Symptoms
- Fear of situations in which you may be judged
- Worrying about embarrassing or humiliating yourself
- Intense fear of interacting or talking with strangers
Physical Symptoms
- Fast heartbeat
- Trembling
- Sweating
Causes:
